“We are two creative forces sharing a life, raising children, invited here by like-minded peers and friends who have seen a spark or something otherwise worth sharing in our collaborative exploration.

Independent of one another there exists a desire to create. We are both motivated to capture, in one medium or another, the world around us. The subjects that draw us close, change, the inspiration mostly changes as well, but the curiosity remains. We share an ability to patiently observe and we live for moments to do so together.

Well, we do frankly, enjoy as much gazing at one another as we can, but the notion that we are side by side sharing a similar view, one that we can relate to one another in words, in pictures or otherwise, is tantalizing. So it is curiosity, mutual respect of our views, and a desire to be closer that pushes us together creatively. The current work is our first exercise together. The engagement of our photography, paint and foil is the beginning of our creative journey together.

Robert makes his living as a freelance commercial photographer, photographing people, places and a grand assortment of things. Eva-Lena is an illustrator, painter, and graphic designer. She has published a work of non-fiction entitled, “Neither God nor Devil: Rethinking our Perception of Wolves” as well as several children’s books.”
