2022 Small Town Pinot Noir

2022 Small Town

Pinot Noir

SONOMA COASTsonoma county

SPECIAL: $49.75
RETAIL: $55.00

TASTING NOTES

Our Small Town Pinot Noir got its name all the way back in 2007 when we first bottled a wine based on vineyards in the little borough of Freestone nestled just a 15-minute drive from the Pacific. We expanded our reach over the years, but ever since that first bottle, this cuvée has been a true representation of cooler climate, coastal Pinot Noir featuring gorgeous California fruit wrapped in all the spicy, savory glory that comes from a vineyard’s proximity to the ocean.

The 2022 vintage is a pristine medium ruby color, showcasing alluring aromas of purple flowers, black tea, forest floor, bright red fruits and a hint of baking spice to get the party started, followed by flavors of bright red raspberry on the top with darker underlying notes of black cherry. Fine tannins, lively acid and a touch of salinity complete the experience of this delicious wine. While it should be in top shape for the holidays this year, it’s built to do quite well for many years to come, so start enjoying this fall and be sure to save some for down the road!
