2015 Sonoma Coast Rosé

2015 Sonoma Coast

Rosé

SONOMA COUNTY

—  SOLD OUT —

TASTING NOTES

Known universally as the harbinger of warm weather, sunny skies and pool parties … rosé can be all that and so much more! Once again, we’ve assembled a bold and inspired blend of Pinot Noir, Syrah and Grenache that is both joyous on its own and worthy at the table, no matter what the menu.

The color alone will tip you off — the Italians would call it “Cerasuolo,” or cherry red. No simple quaffer, this is a rosé with personality, structure and presence. There’s plenty of vibrant, fresh red fruit from the Pinot Noir as well as lovely spice and even a hint of tannin from the Syrah and Grenache. Add dimensionality and a lingering finish and you have a complete wine that satisfies every bit as much as it refreshes. Bring it to the dinner table and let it play off whatever you’re eating. You’ll find it very much at home with a variety of cuisines.

Rosé lovers are advised to stock up while you can … we have the same amount this year as last, and we were long sold out before the end of summer!
