ZACK’S LABEL:

2018 The Barrel Climber Pinot Noir

I never want to be a professional artist. And not to take away from those who make it work, but the moment I stopped caring about monetizing my creativity, is the same moment I became a better artist. The decision to create for the dreadful reason that I am broke, is a decision that I will never make again. Let's face it, we live in a world where money is valued more than kindness, compassion, and oftentimes life itself. I am merely just a human using my creativity to understand the world around me, along with my everyday thoughts and interactions. Being able to put myself into that vulnerable space, expressing my innermost fears and emotions, has been the most rewarding aspect of being an artist. At the end of the day, I only want to inspire you, by relating to you.

Aside from that, my greatest accomplishment as an artist, was receiving a Merit award in 2017 from the city of Santa Rosa For community enrichment. I was awarded this for a project I innovated in 2014 called “Free Art Friday” and it has become a popular art scavenger hunt hosted on Instagram in the county of Sonoma. In the coming years, I have stepped away from this project as a leader but it still continues to this day, every Friday. You can find this directly on Instagram @FreeArtFridaySR.
