Pinot Noir STILING VINEYARD Russian River Valley SOLD OUT Tasting Notes: While our ’06 vintage has put on fruity, flashy weight since it’s release, we expect this one to remain a sleek and sultry charmer. A brilliant ruby color catches your eye, followed by an alluring perfume of cranberry, cherry, anise, strawberry, rose petals, baking spices, musk, clove, pine needle and sweet pipe tobacco. OK, that’s a long list. But the sexy and changing nature of this wine invites the verbiage given a little time in the glass. As do the medium body and nuanced flavors once you take a sip, where dried cherry and cranberry, pomegranate, more baking spice, nutmeg, cola nut and a gentle kiss of vanilla complete the ensemble. This can be savored over a long evening now, but we humbly suggest a bit more cellar time for maximum pleasure.
