We tasted wines from more than 40 new Pinot Noir labels since our last report, and the following dozen producers proved among the best. Some of the wines are from industry veterans such as Brice Jones (Emeritus) and Bruno D'Alfonso (Badge), while others come from new winemakers, many of whom purchase grapes from vineyards throughout the state.
